$Grab Holdings(GRAB.US$ i don’t short. but this is a company that only focus on new tech and industry. rumours has it they are even looking into NFT.
I am not against new tech, but can grab please focus to do one thing well at a time? grab car is super ex and grab food service fee is double the price of the food.

Wilson LH : in my opinion, No, cannot. it's a huge market, should expand in many area as possible. another sg Co is also like that. of course, they really need to perform well etc too.

And the only way for them to compete with new startups and services from fintech/transport/food/insurance is to compete by lowering their fees. I am not sure how sustainable is that. Customer loyalty is also another factor, as soon some other new companies offering free or even better incentives, customer will jump ship.
Another bearish thesis is every grab services has is not exclusively owned by grab (driver, food, digital bank…), as soon a new competitor, these supplies can pose a problem, seen that with gojek but gojek was bad too.
