My 2021 stocks journey

It's exactly 1 years since I started trading stocks. I've learned quite a bit about trading made some losses (E. G. Walt Disney,) and some gains (tesla, apple, Pfizer). I still have much to learn as I wish to venture into trading currencies next year.

Initially I started out with local stocks like SIA, SATS, and some banks... However I realize the movements in local stocks was very very slow and not very profitable due to the pandemic. By March, I had ventured into HK stocks...i made some money their and also huge losses too. Still holding on to some stocks hoping it will rise next year to see profits. From my HK stock experience, I learnt not to put all your money into just 2 to 3 baskets but have to learn to diversify and read up more about the various stocks before purchasing. By June, I had moved on to try US stocks and have been quite pleased with some of the electronic and medical stocks purchased.

I really appreciate the bite-sized videos and tutorials on this platform where I can learn more abt trading. Thanks to all the ppl behind moomoo that make trading (and learning) palatable to us newbies.
