Beijing tax bureau fines SOHO China's Beijing branch Jianhua Real Estate Co., Ltd. 709 mln yuan ($111.16 mln) for evading tax deductions.
Beijing Municipal Taxation Bureau: Beijing Jianhua Land Co., Ltd. deducted costs in the SOHO Shangdu Project (Phase II and III) land value-added tax settlement and corporate income tax settlement in violation of regulations, made false declarations, and underpaid 198 million yuan in land value-added tax and corporate income tax. Beijing Jianhua Land recovered taxes, added late fees, and fined 2.5 times more, a total of 709 million yuan.
