Deloitte predicts there will still be shortages of many types of chips in 2022, but not as severe as in the past year. In mid-2021, customer wait times will reach 20-52 weeks, but by the end of 2022, chip lead times will be closer to 10-20 weeks, and the industry will be basically balanced in early 2023.
