$Meta Platforms(FB.US)$ Facebook cryptocurrency project executive Meron Colbeci has left the company to join UK-based digital payments company Checkout.com, one of Europe's largest privately held fintech companies with a valuation of $15 billion.
Colbeci joined Facebook in 2018 as director of product management, helping develop its Novi cryptocurrency wallet and other payments initiatives.
