An acquisition is inevitable as the race for a one-stop Super-App to rival AliPay continues.

I’m betting Square acquires Twitter and PayPal acquires Pinterest. Twitter and PINS have a hard time monetizing, but, if a financial institution owns their check out process and enables one-click shopping, they can become Amazon competitors overnight. Imagine browsing Pinterest and being able to purchase any product you see seamlessly with PayPal exclusively. Huge opportunity.
