$Sony(SONY.US$ Why is AMC $AMC Entertainment(AMC.US$ getting all the credit (~20%) for Spiderman? Shouldnt this reflect on Sony Stock? Spiderman is in the top 3 opening weekends of all time (2x avengers, 1 spiderman) Confused..... I doubt all that value is built-in, but maybe... thoughts?

RockinIT : AMC is not getting the credit at all. The box office success at the theatres is a big slap in the face for all the FUD and detractors saying no one is going to see movies in theatres anymore and AMC is a dying business.
SammyT OP : I get that. Then why did AMC get a 20% stock boost over the last 3 days and not Sony? meme stock?
SammyT OP : so people coming to see spiderman is a proof that the going to the movies can still be a popular venue, even during times of uncertainty?
