My biggest mistake in trading

My biggest mistake in trading was the fear of losing out and greed. When everyone was talking about how this particular stock was going to shoot to the moon, I went in. The stock did. It shoot to the moon. The stock came tumbling down like a humpty dumpty. It was a great wake up call that one must do his due diligent and not just follow the crowd. Always know what u r doing and don't let your emotions take control over your rational decision making. Also, do not let greed take over u too.

It cost me almost $10k and I have thus learn that patience is the key to winning.
