Not being patient
The biggest mistake I made while trading is thinking that I could actually wait like an idiot to buy in or buy more when a stock or crypto is actually up a lot percentage wise thinking that it will continue to exceed that because sometimes it does but most likely once it's up pretty high people are going to start taking profits and some are going to sell so at the least I know I should always be doing my homework and actually buy in or more while it's actually down or either put in bids. I am new to all of this and I am learning the hard way, but I'm tired of losing and I actually want to gain and be good at it that way I can help other people. I brought cro at 80 cents like a dummy even though I know it's going to be big I should have just waited a little bit because it was up then. lesson lessons learned!!!!!!

Li Mu Bai : Traders usually have short term investment horizon. This includes positions taken for dividend capture objectives where they will exit immediately when the stock goes ex dividend at a price that does not fully reflect the dividend paid. Their actions can then send the stock price even lower. My mistake is not to take this into account on my long term investments by using this as an opportunity to lower my average acquisition cost by copying their tactics. Note that this can only work for stocks with high liquidity.
