GSK and Pfizer Holdings ViiV Healthcare's drugs receive FDA approval for early HIV prevetion

Futu Information News, GlaxoSmithKline (GSK.N) and ViiV Healthcare controlled by Pfizer (PFE.N) have developed Apretude (Cabotegravir sustained-release injection) that has been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for HIV Prevention in advance. It is reported that the FDA stated that Aprretde is the first therapy that can prevent HIV infection without daily medication. Its approval provides an important tool for ending the HIV epidemic.
