China Minmetals Rare Earth says strategic reorganization with Aluminum Corp. of China, and Ganzhou Rare Earth Group Co. is approved by China's State Council to form a new firm.
Minmetals rare earths: After research by the State Assets Administration Commission and approval by the State Council, it was agreed that China Aluminum Group Co., Ltd., China Minmetals, and the Ganzhou Municipal People's Government will carry out a strategic restructuring of related rare earth assets and establish a new company controlled by the State Council's State-owned Assets Administration Commission.
