How to evaluate long term investments

For long term investments, my personal opinion is Fundamental Analysis, to look for companies with good and sustainable profits.
For mid term investments, can consider looking for Technical Analysis, together with Strength Index.
For short term wise, it will be more of trading actions, instead of investments, thus will rather go for options trading, and not the physical stocks.

Just my 2cents worth.
