Interactive Broker LLC as our clearing firm will be the holder. Your shares will be held under the street name.
You are still the shareholder if there are liquidity issues, you may be restricted from opening new positions on certain stocks but nothing will happen to your existing holdings and you will still be able to close your positions.
Since we are using IB as our clearing broker, the liquidity deposit in DTCC should be maintained by IB, if IB can't meet the liquidity deposit requirement set by DTCC, they may restrict trading certain stocks, like what happened before with GME, AMC, and other high volatility stocks, Futu does not have control over that.

jpcardona : solution to the problem is buy now that it's cheap.. don't wait to fomo buy and maybe avoid the problem of not having the option to buy more. robinhood was not the only broker that stopped people from buying.

Any way interactive brokers has been on the up and up for quite some time now they stared clear of what the other nefarious hedge funds were illegally doing, because interactive wants people to build that portfolio with them and they really have been doing a fantastic job plus there is no payment for order flow through interactive brokers... baby Futu iss just clearing that up just as a precaution interactive are holding our shares and they have no control over them if they were to somehow go to a rough patch but I don't think they will because there are a whole lot more that have done illegal stuff and I guarantee you if they haven't got subpoenaed yet they will be getting subpoenaed within the next few days by the DOJ.. DOJ could be looking into FINRA for all we know lol.. tomorrow is my birthday 12-23 options are up tomorrow also was it me or was the volume suppressed insanely today the price action was moving too fast a lot of the volume got directed to the dark pools I can guarantee that .. let's just say one of the smaller hedge funds that have the possibility of becoming a real competitor in the hedge mutt game could just cooperate with the DOJ or SEC and show them exactly what they were doing with over leverage and the actual short interest and actual prices to go with the volume that got transferred to the dark pool which I feel the department of Justice has concrete evidence which shows the obvious evil illegal activities that were one by these numerous greedy hedge mutts..DUMB MONEY FOR THE WIN!!!

He is the founder and ceo and is definitely not on our team in my opinion but I hope I am wrong. If you have not watched or listened to him you really should. Saying they do not use PFOF is a false statement he openly talks about it several times This year. It is a guarantee that they will suspend buying if we have a squeeze just like they did in January.
