Co-Wise: Why do you stick to long-term investment?
Views 214K Contents 497

3 key parameters: Income, Growth and Potential

I try to separate my long-term investment with day trading (*obviously some regrets here and there*).

My over horizon investment are separated by 3 key parameters:

1) Generate Income
These are dividend generating stocks. I typically prefer local to avoid 30% withholding. In this class, I will hold bank stock and REITs. $OCBC Bank (O39.SG)$ $Lendlease Reit (JYEU.SG)$ I am also experimenting with Income ETF such as $Nationwide Nasdaq-100 Risk-Managed Income ETF (NUSI.US)$

2) Growth Stock
The growth stock that I started to build for long term is $Tesla (TSLA.US)$. I am looking possibly to add $Microsoft (MSFT.US)$ $ASML Holding (ASML.US)$ into my future mix.

3) The Future Potential
These are the potential runners or downers for the future. I am basically betting on possibilities. $Sono Group (SEV.US)$ Have been buying the dips for this German solar EV company. It has suffered more than 50% drop from initial IPO surge. But I think the uniqueness to harness solar energy for EV and the possible patent to sell this technology makes me excited. This will be a 5 year horizon investment. Will be watching Metaverse movement as well. $Roundhill Ball Metaverse ETF (META.US)$

I will park Crypto here as Potential as well although my investment plan is to DCA into BTC every dip, and parked them at CELSIUS to get 6.2% APY. While I believe Crypto will have its use in future digital Metaverse world, there is a high possibility that Crypto price will swing violently.

Happy Investing!!
