Adopting a long-term horizon of 10 to 20 years or perhaps even 30 years in investment allows us to ride on the magical effect of compounding, at a passive stance. Trading actively, day-in-day-out is akin to working in a part-time job and can be stressful at times. By going for investment in the long run, we could sit back, relax, let the growth stocks with solid fundamentals grow and make money when we sleep.
