Sticking to long term investments

Long term investments has its benefits so far for me. Especially in blue chip companies. When I invest in companies for long term investments, I look at the company in 5 - 10 years down the road and its dividends it pay annually. Most of my long term investments for the past 5 years have been paying nice dividends and I believe that these companies will go far in the next few years when Covid-19 is over.
