As an investor, guess that most of you guys have been through major and minor market crash. When the market is clouded by nagetive atmosphere and stocks prices went straight down, it is commonly called "dip".
Every coin has two sides. Sometimes a dip come after appalling financial crisis. But if we see it from different angle, it also provide perfect buy-in opportunities for investors to ape in.
As mentioned above, there are thousands kind of dip in the market.
Luckily, mooers have each other here. New commer can learn from experienced mooers before they start trading.
Let them give some great demonstration of how to deal with "dips" when they happen.
HopeAlways : Finding bargains in the market is a rarity these days, so we should load up shares of great businesses if the opportunity presents itself. There should always be companies on our watchlist that we will consider to buy if prices become attractive. Quality stocks like $Apple (AAPL.US)$, $Microsoft (MSFT.US)$, $NVIDIA (NVDA.US)$ are outstanding additions to our stock portfolios if they take a dip.
Syuee : I will only dip buy high quality companies that I would be comfortable holding for a long period of time. That way, if the price continues downward below my buy point, I will have enough confidence in the company to hold until the price recovers.
I shall do my own research before buying anything, but there is also value in listening to the experts. When multiple top-rated analysts recommend the similar stock and my personal research leads to the same conclusion, then I know my chances of success are pretty high.
Dip buying questionable companies is a dangerous game and not worth the risk. Catching a falling knife can slice up my portfolio in a hurry.
HuatEver HopeAlways : Sound strategies for Great Bargains.
Jeet Kune Do HopeAlways : Good
HuatLady Syuee : Wise of you to do research prior to an investment because such precautionary measures will certainly decrease the risks of a loss.
102089245 HopeAlways : Buying the Dip Will Work for Good Stocks of Strong Stocking
jasonleett HopeAlways : One should have a solid grasp of the company's fundamental and technicals to identify if it's a pullback and enter when it's right....
Syuee HopeAlways : I am awaiting for outstanding additions to beef up my current stock portfolio, should they take a dip.
HuatEver Syuee : Although all “dips” are tempting buys we have to be extremely prudent in our moves, and your decision of researching the company before a buy guarantees a better outcome.
Ray2021 : For 2022, will continue to DCA $Palantir (PLTR.US)$ and sell covered calls.
I do like $NVIDIA (NVDA.US)$ $Micron Technology (MU.US)$ in terms of technology companies
