“Once-in-a-generation” company
A lot of people failed to recognise that Tesla is a once-in-a-generation company. Just like $Apple (AAPL.US)$ in the mobile phone market, it is changing the automobile industry. Tesla is also a niche brand and has a really devoted following in the EV market.
On whether Telsa stock is too expensive? I don’t think so, as there are too many catalysts coming up in the near and long term future, and I believe the price will continue to rise.
To add on, I personally feel that traditional valuation techniques may not be very relevant to Tesla at this point, similarly to how $Amazon (AMZN.US)$ was always "too expensive" by traditional valuation techniques as it rapidly became one of Earth's largest companies.
Once again, just like Apple, they will reach the 3 trillion mark sooner rather than later. Likely shorter than the amount of time which Apple took
$Tesla (TSLA.US)$ to the Mars (Musk)
