Wechat has supported digital RMB payment.
Recently, the digital RMB App has been upgraded and updated, and WeBank (WeChat Pay) digital RMB wallet has been launched. After the early multi-stage controllable pilot, Tencent began to provide users with digital RMB services.
After users open WeBank (WeChat Pay) digital RMB wallet under their real name, they can use digital RMB App or Wechat to pay. A "digital RMB" entry has been added to the WeChat Pay "wallet" page of real-name users, and the "use digital RMB" option has been added to the Wechat "receive payment" page. By scanning the digital RMB collection code through Wechat, or showing Wechat's digital RMB payment code to merchants, users can easily pay digital RMB.
