FOMO vs. Profit?

So I have only been trading for a short while now, but even so I have learned very valuable lessons in the trading mindset. I started investing in stocks, to try to have my money work for me and make more, and the prospect of my money making more Was scary, yet exciting. Well I got so caught up in the prospect of financial security, and lost big trying to make a quick buck day trading. So I have learned to watch, wait, and do just enough homework to not make myself even more neurotic(lol). So for at least me, it took a hard lesson, but that is how I improved my trading mindset.
