Before buying any stock …. Ask myself …
last year was marked by 10 mini corrections and each time there are some buying opportunities of good stocks at a bargain.
so this year in 2022, I’ve learnt to appreciate the red days as buying opportunities to build my small portfolio.
buying when the stock is failing is like catching a falling knife. the SMA lines sometimes just give no answer like $Alibaba(BABA.US$ and $Activision Blizzard(ATVI.US$ in 2021. it can be scary for newbies like me
At each price level I will ask myself, “ok can I buy this stock at this price? is it worth the value? what happens if it drop?”
set an exit plan
stick to it
in this way I will be able to stop my monkey mind from FOMO 🤣
I’ve accumulated $Visa(V.US$ and $MasterCard(MA.US$ this way during the last sell off and I think it serves me well, looking at the prices now 💰
