for me, i'm beginning to appreciate the classic advices such as

- always have an emergency fund (>6mths if you are employed/>12months if you are self employed) ; this will set your mind at ease

- always trade with the money you can afford to lose

- don't expect to win with every trade. instead, expect to lose. aim for small losses and great gains.
