BofA analyst Justin Post thinks so. On Monday he issued a report with a buy rating on $Amazon(AMZN.US)$ and price target of 4,450. That's a 30% premium from where it currently trades.

Amazon stock dropped 5% in 2021, vs. 30% growth for the S&P 500.

The top FANG stock last year was $Alphabet-A(GOOGL.US)$ $Alphabet-C(GOOG.US)$ , up 66%. Coming in second was $Meta Platforms(FB.US)$ at 24%, then $Netflix(NFLX.US)$ at 15%. Alphabet was the top FANG pick by Post last year.

There are several reasons for Amazon's weak performance in 2021, said Post. This includes a slowdown in e-commerce purchases as brick-and-mortar retailers reopened their doors while the pandemic eased. Another reason was supply chain and labor bottlenecks.
