Roger Chia : all US stocks has a withholding tax. MooMoo will automatically deduct the amount. you can see it under your US margin account --> fund details.
charliebb OP : Thank you Roger! I saw my Apple dividend shows there’s tax. But not for QYLD. That’s why I was wondering.
Blesson charliebb OP : Hi hi from my knowledge, QYLD sometimes give dividends as ROC, which is not taxed as normal dividends, so for people outside US no need to pay WHT and will be taxed as short term capital taxes for US citizens, for people outside US. Also I think for people outside US don’t have short term capital gain tax, So they won’t deduct any tax from this payout.
