It's difficult to picture a scenario in the future where $QuickLogic(QUIK.US)$ is not acquired. $Intel(INTC.US)$
wanted a piece of the FPGA pie and acquired Altera in 2015 for $16.7B. $Advanced Micro Devices(AMD.US)$ is about to finalize their $35B acquisition of $Xilinx(XLNX.US)$ in Q1. If you wanted to a piece of the edge eFPGA pie, would you start from scratch with your own unproven, expensive, time-consuming initiative? Or would you try to acquire the already-proven leader in the space, for just a fraction of your annual sales? If QUIK puts together a few spectacular quarters validating open source eFPGA, it will likely get the attention of some bigger fish, imo. Just hoping that as more customers come on board that the market starts to take notice and we are multiples higher than the current pps before any tender offers are put on the table.
