First investment

I bought Singapore stocks last year... SGX didn't sell when it first rose... now it's falling very badly... but I still support SGX... How can I say it's a relatively safe stock... it also gives dividends on a regular basis, so it's safe...
I'm waiting for the right time to buy US stocks this year... I'm still watching... I'm a little more excited about US stocks... I'm still waiting for the right time...
