1st Trade of the Year

I have not made any trades this year yet. I have been too preoccupied trying to figure out the impact the investments will do to my income taxes. I know it's early, but I am a nerd who likes to plan ahead. Any advice on a stock/crypto to watch or a good place to learn about them? I'm still new and learning about this, which is hard to do on my cellphone.
