How did you deal with losses in the stock market?
Views 109K Contents 490

Never ever let losses define you

Learn to control Emotions - big losses tend to make an investor emotional. It’s normal. But how you handle these emotions is critical. More often than not, emotional investors tend to act rashly. Don’t do that. Don’t be like a gambler in a casino - when you are losing money, don’t pump in more money in attempt to recoup back the losses. Take a break if you have to.
Learn from Mistakes - seek to understand what went wrong. Your trading method? Your temperament? The stock? I myself have lost some money in meme stocks (tend to be late to the boat), so I learnt to give them up altogether. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. $IronNet (IRNT.US)$ $ChemoCentryx (CCXI.US)$ $AMC Entertainment (AMC.US)$ $Digital World Acquisition Corp (DWAC.US)$
Learn to move on - don’t dwell over the past. Hindsight is always 20/20. Once you have discovered your mistakes and learnt from them, it’s time to move on - just like how you moved on from your ex girlfriend / boyfriend It’s tough, it’s heartbreaking, but.. you’ll be fine
