SHOCKING REVELATION 1 : Essentially what was highlighted was that some NFTs simple store URIs references to centralised data bases!
SHOCKING REVELATION 2 :
The video also stated that to verify NFTs some block chains require a script to scan the entire block chain! This is obviously not a scalable solution!
Who enforces and protects ownership? We often hear jokes of people copying jpg files and claiming to have stolen a NFT. But what if we take this thought experiment further and question what do we really own when we buy an nft?
