it is the same as gambling because you're putting up money with the intent of winning more money on something that's not guaranteed. Most play the odds of wether it's gonna go in their favor, we root for our stock to go in the direction we want, we celebrate when we win, it's definitely a dopamine rush when you win which kinda makes it habitual like gambling and if the other team wins long vs short) you lose your initial investment/bet and you play again to try and win that money back. So investing long term is like betting on the season instead of the game 🤷🏿‍♂️
