Correct me if I'm wrong but...

$ProShares UltraPro Short QQQ ETF (SQQQ.US)$
I keep reading online that the shares that dont get converted 5-1 are credited back to you at market value... so I had 39 shares (across 3 platforms) and instead of losing 4 shares that didnt make up the 5-1 , I lost out three times. multiply that by millions of 1-4 shares that didnt get converted - like - where's my refund for the 4 shares on each platform??
this is the second reverse split I've endured and I've just had shares siphoned off my accounts each time. What am I missing here?
And oh yes - the No News before the reverse split... whats with that?? I was trying to average down lately from my ~$9-11/share I had... well that opportunity us gone since they just did this at the 11th hour. What the hell??
Did they steal millions of shares? Where's my 4/5ths of a share back? (I know this isnt a ton of money - just the principal)
