What's the difference between investing and gambling?

I must say none or very little I do them both faithfully. In investing it varies you don't see your winnings or loses as fast, and you have time to change things up, gambling it's quicker you either win quick or lose quick it don't drag on for long periods of time, investing and gambling take alot of thought, guessing, and studying. I play the same numbers over and over till they hit in gambling and I invest in the same stock on different platforms, the long haul , I hold till its time to fold ( and put it in my pocket ).....lol
