Rolls-Royce, Bugatti, and Lamborghini enjoy record luxury car sales in 2021
The pandemic may have slammed the brakes on financial plans of many across the world but for the super wealthy, it may have been given an opportunity to indulge in other indulgences.
Did someone say opulent cars? Sure.

Rolls-Royce
Rolls-Royce just reported it had a record 2021 in terms of sales when the number of units sold exceeded those sold in any other year since the company's inception 117 years ago.
Rolls-Royce sold 5,586 cars across the world in 2021, a 49% rise in sales from the previous year. Rolls-Royce Cullinan SUV and Ghost models are being preffered over other super luxury rides.
While most Rolls-Royce models are in demand, some are more popular than others. For instance, the Rolls-Royce Cullinan and the new-generation Ghost were particularly favoured by buyers all of 2021. And these models are likely to dominate sales chart this year as well with the Goodwood factory that employees 2,000 people currently working at near full capacity.
Bugatti
Bugatti announced its 2021 sales and stated that last year was the most successful year in the automaker's 112-year history.

The Molsheim brand shared that 150 customers ordered a hyper sports car from the company and among this, 60 per cent were completely new to the brand. The automaker informed that Bugatti Chiron is sold out and the 40 units of the Bugatti Bolide, which the company claims to be the most extreme Bugatti ever, have also found owners.
Lamborghini
Italian luxury sports car brand Lamborghini recorded its best year ever in 2021 with highest number of cars delivered to its customers across the world. The carmaker announced that it sold 8,405 cars last year, the highest in its 59-year-old history, with a growth of 13 per cent compared to 2020.

Luxury rides are the rage:
Experts believe that luxury car manufacturers may have never had it this good as despite the pandemic - or perhaps because of it - the customer base is looking to splurge on expensive and super expensive cars.
With foreign travel and expensive stays being ruled out by many for Covid-19-related factors, the disposable wealth that would have otherwise gone towards other indulgences are being directed towards dream machines.
