How to deal with investment losses.
There should be no one who has not experienced loss.
Even very experienced investment seniors cannot always have a smooth journey. Investing involves risks, and everyone knows that.
My personal approach is to first accept the fact that I have incurred losses, and to bravely and actively face it. Think calmly, identify the issues, and solve them rationally.
Because most of it is long-term investment in reliable quality stocks, if they drop to the planned level, I will buy to balance my positions. However, both the additional purchases and the entry point must meet your planned targets. You must control your emotions, have excellent patience to wait, and never act impulsively. When facing losses, emotions are easily uncontrolled and can disrupt the plan, possibly leading to even greater losses.
So, for a long-term investor like me, patient waiting is the best response.
