Growing income gap

The only feeling that I get is that the rich gets richer while the poor remains/ become poorer.

As for me, my life remains the same. Although I am unable to own a house, I can still make ends meet, enough for my basic necessities. My friends are probably doing way better than me, but they don't flaunt their wealth. So I don't know..
