I personally do and don’t.
firstly I always go back to fundamentals. and company reports. news are always leading indicators of what’s happening around the company we invest in. but do they actually have an impact on the fundamentals?
let’s quote an example. Elon musk..
king of tweets that can shake the world. his one tweet of his pet dogs can send crypto rising and crashing. but do Tesla fundamentals change? no.
but yet when news reports come in for his new factories coming online and pushing production higher than ever. is that good news that can further impact the price? certainly.
so in short, understand what will and will not push the company fundamentals. and trade wisely. don’t trade whatever you can’t afford to lose
