Trading with news?
News could be true or wrong. Could be intended or not. The outcome will varies because everyone interpret and respond differently. For example, the news about Microsoft buying Activision stakes…. a huge jump during pre-market;but, when market opened the price dived. Long investor expecting bullish run. Shortist saw opportunities opening. In general, I think news will HINT the price movement direction;but, investors still need to monitor the actual market sentiment instead of assuming the price will moves according to the news
