Dead cat bounce?

$ARK Innovation ETF (ARKK.US)$ I don't get it, even at this price the fund seems overvalued, and with all the tapering, interest rate hikes, threat of war, there are headwinds all around, so why do pple still insist on buying a sinking ship? Isn't it better to wait a few months until situation is more certain?
