Most active stock options for Jan 28: Apple turning iPhones into POS terminals
$Apple (AAPL.US)$ reported a set of bumper earnings on Thursday, sending shares up 5% AH to $167, Bloomberg reported that Apple was "planning a new service that will allow iPhones to accept payments with the tap of a credit card." The feature would essentially turn iPhones into payment terminals and threaten $Block (SQ.US)$ , formerly known as Square, presence in the space.
$Tesla (TSLA.US)$'s stock dropped 11.55% on Thursday, a day after reporting better-than-expected fourth-quarter earnings, dragging down rivals $Lucid Group (LCID.US)$ , $NIO Inc (NIO.US)$ , $Rivian Automotive (RIVN.US)$ after it delayed releasing new vehicles until next year because of supply chain disruptions it said could last through this year.
