Which Will U Invest In For A Singaporean 🇸🇬 ?
Among CSPX, VUSD & $Berkshire Hathaway-A(BRK.A.US$ .
CSPX (Re-invest dividend=15% tax on dividend)
VUSD (Give out dividend=15% tax on dividend)
Berkshire seem like always goes up in the long term trend (maybe can just buy in fraction share)
CSPX (Re-invest dividend=15% tax on dividend)
VUSD (Give out dividend=15% tax on dividend)
Berkshire seem like always goes up in the long term trend (maybe can just buy in fraction share)
Which of them will u invest in if u have limited to choose either one of them & why?
Personally, I think either CSPX or Berkshire is the better choice.

Milk The CowOP : omg
$SPDR S&P 500 ETF (SPY.US)$ is so close to CSPX as of 29/1/2022.
This should not be the case since CSPX re-invest dividend but $SPDR S&P 500 ETF (SPY.US)$ give out dividend = CSPX price should be higher quite a bit, I guess.
$SPDR S&P 500 ETF (SPY.US)$ & CSPX is the same ETF.
$SPDR S&P 500 ETF (SPY.US)$ trade in
CSPX trade in
Milk The CowOP : omg
why is it so hard to decide
1:1:1 survey result so far...
Milk The CowOP : As of today, survey seem to favor CSPX more
within my choice
we think quite alike
Milk The CowOP : How does cspx reinvest dividend?
Heard is something like the NAV value increased.
Ur dividend still get taxed 15% but the final received dividend is used to reinvest on cspx which increase its per share NAV?
So, does it mean when u sell 1 share cspx, the price is = the NAV instead of the current market value?
Anyone know? Those who has invested & sell before?
Milk The CowOP : And how is this cspx NAV calculated?
Is it really more worth than VUSD with 15% dividend payout + ROI for the year?
Any CSPX pro can explain to me?
Milk The CowOP : My math tells me VUSD seem to worth more than CSPX, depending how the CSPX NAV is calculated & if my hypothesis is correct for CSPX sell pricing.
Hypothesis:
Re-invest= Buy in CSPX unit that increase NAV of CSPX which is calculated based on market price per share.
So, doesn't it mean they may just buy at a high market price per share?
With ur available dividend for reinvest, u may get lesser NAV of CSPX if the market price per share is high during that period?
Also, the downside is if it's a market after dividend reinvested, u may actually make a lost.
Of course, if it's a bull market, u won't get missed out.
(It's basically leave ur dividend to CSPX to handle it)
Another point is... Will u get charged any fees for the reinvest dividend part?
Milk The CowOP Milk The CowOP: Based on year 2021 charts & dividend.
Milk The CowOP Milk The CowOP: Oh, I re-calculated that CSPX is still more worth than VUSD even without applying the NAV thing...
Haha my math failed.
I mean if all ppl preferred CSPX, it can only mean it's better.
So, I think I must had done something wrong during my calculation...
Milk The CowOP : Wow, never visit my this post sometime & I already got 30 vote on cspx.
OK, guess no need hesitate anymore.
I decided to go with cspx.
Milk The CowOP : 49 so far.
I guess the answer is = CSPX
