Tesla is a ONCE in a LIFETIME investment
$Tesla (TSLA.US)$ will look very different in 10 years time.
Integration with starlink and FSD means transportation will be cheap and free.
Teslabot would have changed the economy and no manual labour will be needed anymore. Income and economy will be irrelevant to the society.
Mankind would have a permanent base on the moon and working their way to Mars and beyond.
If you are unsure about the market, just DCA into Tesla while you can. Thank me later.
PS: Even if you are stranded on an island, you will still have connection to the world via starlink.
PPS: If you are really that important, your loved ones could send an army of teslabot to search for you, or use the many satellites to locate you. Being isolated will no longer be an "accident". You have to actively choose to be off the grid.

There is currently no company competing with Tesla so it's really a no brainer to invest in them. And when competition comes, maybe in 2030, you can just start investing in then too. But until then, Tesla really is the only one.
And to the skeptics that talk about Tesla's high P/E, their forward P/E is currently at ~70 so it's become really cheap to own for a young growth company. And it'll drop even lower once Austin and Berlin start production.
