My View on Chinese Concept Stocks
With the Chinese government pursuing a policy of common prosperity, a series of crackdowns on anti-competition and personal data collection, the unknown extent of the real estate crisis and the ongoing tension with the US, I think there is still too much uncertainty for Chinese concept stocks for my liking. The Chinese government also seems unlikely to bail out companies that are in trouble despite the economic impact. The electrical vehicle sector holds promise in terms of growth but is similarly hampered by weak sentiments among foreign investors about Chinese stocks.
