Am I getting the run around and if so, why?
$AMC Entertainment (AMC.US)$ I have been trying to transfer 250 AMC shares from Fidelity to Computershare since December 2021. At first, I was left on hold for over an hour and then disconnected. I tried four different times. Their excuse was vacations and short staffing. Since then, it took me two additional calls in January to finally get a representative to tell me they would transfer my shares and it would take up to 48 hours before they would be visible to me on Computershare. Almost three weeks later, the shares are still in Fidelity. 🤔 I'm going in person Monday morning to a local Fidelity location and someone needs to explain this. My intuition tells me that it's because of synthetic shares and they can't transfer them. I'm keep you posted.

gghk : It’s probably not fidelity, you’ll have to call computer share or whenever you sent them I’ve transferred in and out of fidelity so many times they will release your transfer to the other broker then that broker has to accept and confirm id say after you talk to fidelity that’s what they’ll say
