Elon Musk on US national debt: 'something has got to give'
$Tesla (TSLA.US)$ CEO Elon Musk said "the actual U.S. national debt is almost three times the size of the economy at $60 trillion" on Twitter yesterday, replied to an article from the Babylon Bee.
The Babylon Bee's satirical article said that President Joe Biden was planning to wipe out the U.S. national debt with a $30 trillion bet on the professional American football team Cincinnati Bengals.
It's not the first time that Musk expressed his's dissatisfaction on President Joe Biden.
Last year, Musk had expressed his displeasure over a billionaire tax proposal being floated by the Biden administration. He said "Spending is the real problem."
In recent, Musk called Biden a "damp sock puppet" in human form — apparently miffed after the U.S. President failed to acknowledge the role Tesla has played in America's electrification efforts.
Do you agree with Musk?
