Generation Z Investment Club is an intercollegiate student-run investment community that seeks to inspire the next generation of leading investors by equipping members with the right mindset and knowledge for a life-long investor journey.
We run two programs - the Next Gen ESG Investing Program and Gen Z Investing Program. Our members form teams and run their own endowment portfolios.
One of our teams researched on $Coinbase (COIN.US)$ and our investment theses is as follows:
Thesis 1: Increase in adoption of crypto will benefit Coinbase
Thesis 2: Strong moat created by its regulatory-first approach
Also, from the Technology Adoption Curve, Crypto users is projected to continue growth annually at an 80% growth rate for the next 2 years and then slow down to 33% for the rest of this decade.
Venture Capital Investments in Crypto has also seen a steady climb to $30 billion in 2021. Coinbase is also equipped to benefit from the increase in adoption of crypto as it has all the US Crypto Exchange Licenses being one of the first company to act as an exchange for Crypto.
