How do you develop a trading philosophy?
Views 248K Contents 305

Have I developed trading philosophy?

Hmm, I'm not sure myself.
(Have I reached enlightenment yet?)
But I will say that it is the highest level skill in trading in stock.

I've been wondering 🤔 myself... does a good trading philosophy mean u have to become a "M"? (Masochist)
To be able to take all the hard emotion trails that the market has to give u?
And my conclusion is...
Of course...
NO.
"M" is someone who feel pleasure (excited) from the pain received physically or psychologically .
There's no way I'm one right?
I'm human after all, I do feel the emotional pain.

How to achieve good trading philosophy?
1. You just have to be like a robot 🤖
Think rationally / logically.
Never let ur emotions get the better of u.
2. Seperate ur stock failure life from ur normal life style especially if u have a family 👪 (clear mindset)
Do not take ur anger out on ur family or ppls u know.
3. To has a good poker face = remain calm
(Basically same as point 2 )
4. Realised ur mistakes, don't be stubborn & fail to accept it...
If wrong mean wrong (after multiple attempts still fails)... recognise it & make better improvements on it. Only then u can continue to move forward.
5. Keeping a healthy lifestyle
One has to take care of themselves first then is considered a good 👍 professionalism.

So has I reached enlightenment yet?
Idk.
How to know if I have reached enlightenment?
When my stocks position make .
What types of investor am I?
I guess I'm those "reserved" type of investor.
Trying to change to a more "daring/more aggressive" one as "reserved" investor tends to miss great opportunities.

Conclusion:
How u do it does not really matters. As long as u are able reached ur final goal , I guess that is considered reaching enlightenment.
