Ukraine has received over $50 million in crypto donations and start to accept donation in meme coin

According to numbers supplied by blockchain analytics platform Elliptic, the Ukrainian crypto crowdfunding initiative has now reached $50.9 million.

The Ukrainian government's official Twitter account stated on February 26, 2022 that it was "now taking cryptocurrency donations," kicking off the country's crypto crowdfunding effort.

Since yesterday, official cryptocurrency donation updates have moved from Ukraine's official government Twitter account to that of the Vice Prime Minister, Mykhailo Fedorov.

On March 2, 2022, Fedorov announced the Ukrainian government was also now accepting Dogecoin.
