My favorite women investor: my mother
My favorite woman investor is my mother. She may not be a billionaire trader in stocks, bonds or mutual funds, but she invested in something she believed in with intangible dividends. First, she invested in the American Dream of this great country when she fled a dictatorship seeking greater opportunities in the USA. She secondly invested in my father with whom she’s been married for 50 years. Together they bought stocks, properties and businesses (which my mom still runs to this day), but her greatest investment was her children. My mom invested all her time, energy, and love in providing for my sister and I. It is because her investment in me that empowers me to be the investor I am today.
