The greatest opportunity for improvements in gender inclusive investment is diversity.

1. The person who has influenced me the most is my beloved mother.  I am a child from a small village in Malaysia. I recall that my parents took us 6 "little rascals" from the city to follow our father to live in a village that has not yet developed without water and electricity.  When I understand the truth, I will hear how much my mother does not want to leave the big city. Of course, my mother has asked my father many times if he wants to try to live in the city.  Although I have never been recognized by my father, when I was 13 years old, my father's small business in the village could not afford our tuition fees.  My mother started travelling to Singapore by herself for work when I was 13 years old.  It was from my mother when I first heard the word "stock".  My mother gave me more knowledge and understanding. Compared with my father, I was more conservative and made me understand more than worry.  My father also learned about investing because of my mother.  Sometimes I found that my mother was more courageous than my father, and she was not indecisive.  She played a great role in my academic career.  Although I did not meet her requirements, she also gave me respect and understanding.  To this day, I still remember a golden sentence my mother gave me.  "Whatever you do, you must rely on your brain more than your physical strength. A person's hands make money no faster than their heads."

It may be easier for male investors to play with entrepreneurs, find more common interests, and become brothers easily.  The meticulousness, humility, and good listening skills of female investors make us more empathetic and persuasive, and better understand entrepreneurs.

The first Women's Day in New York was organized by the Socialist Party of America on February 28, 1909.  On March 8, 1909, 10,000 female workers in Chicago, USA held street demonstrations, demanding shortened working hours, increased wages, and the right to vote, and shouted "bread and roses", which symbolized economic security and quality of life.  On March 8, 1917, in Petrograd, the capital of the Russian Empire, women textile workers held strikes and marches throughout the city, which also led to the beginning of the Russian Revolution; seven days later, the Russian Emperor Nicholas II abdicated, and the Provisional Government ensured  Women have the right to vote.  In 1917, the Soviet Union designated March 8 as a national holiday.  The day was celebrated mainly in socialist countries before it was officially recognized by the United Nations in 1975.
