TeslaSmurf : There is a much more simple way to operate Tesla (in addition to the “collateral” and profitable day trading): ALWAYS buy. You buy at 1200, at 1110, 1000, 900, 800, 700 and going up again, as is impossible to predict the next peak or the next dip. You can read de main trend, follow the daily market and take consequent decisions. At the end you have a portfolio with dollar cost averaged stocks, in reality bought at lower prices, considering the gains of day trading that you use for purchasing new stocks.
Which is the limit ? There is no limit, as Tesla won’t slow growing for the whole decade, at least. If you are a good analyst and trader you will buy at the more convenient prices and make good money with day trading; if you are not, you just limit the day trading to the dumb-proof days (like today) and accumulate as much stocks as you can: the growth will forgive wrong timing in buying as long as you stay calm, don’t panic and don’t sell with a loss. Anyway it is a learning process that nobody can avoid to experiment on its own skin: better if not loosing money.
